Overview

Applies principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Collaborate with Engineers and Production Management to ensure current manufacturing process is accurately reflected in Bills of Material and Bills of Operation within ERP system and production reporting system. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus.

 

Analysis of actual results vs. budgeted and forecasted results.

 

Calculate Variable and Fixed Costs.

 

Prepare new rates for upcoming year.

 

Responsible for Annual Roll of Standards Costs.

 

Work closely with production managers to identify spending weaknesses and pursue opportunities for cost reduction.

 

Assist in preparing monthly forecast and annual budget deliverables for review with upper management.

 

Assist in preparing Monthly and Annual Financial Reports to Submit to Management and Corporate.

 

Prepare monthly reconciliations.

 

Reconcile Inventories.

 

Analyze variances from standard cost.

 

Various Cost and Financial Reports.

 

Various other general accounting duties.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
