Janus - Junior Accountant

This position will support the Finance Department.

Shall include but not be limited to the following:

• Full-Cycle Accounts Payable including invoice entry, contract invoices, payment scheduling and vendor correspondence
• Research and prepare credit documentation for customers New and for Review
• Annual 1099 Processing
• Sales and Use tax calculations and compliance
• Assist with Cash Receipts Posting and Credit Card Processing
• Work independently and as a team member
• Multitask and meet deadlines
• Assist in Project billing
• Help ensure accounting policies, and procedures are being followed
• Assist in month end close
• Perform other duties as requested

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Accounts Payable and/or Bookkeeping experience preferred

Excellent communications and people skills

Excellent organization skills

Excellent computer skills (Word/Excel/ERP)

Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and prior ERP experience a plus. Must be self-driven, detail oriented, and disciplined to work independently.
