The Role

 

We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

  • Create and maintain the personnel, confidential, training files on newly hired and terminated employees.
  • Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
  • Draft, review and distribute employee communications
  • File HR documents in a timely manner
  • Coordinate New Hire Orientation
  • Assist in preparation for HR events and work the events as necessary (career fairs, job fairs, orientations, wellness fair, etc.)

Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential

Qualifications

 

Who You Are

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 
  • Two years’ experience in a high detail office setting required, preferable in human resources. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Distribute HR communications efficiently.
  • Maintains current knowledge company processes, policies and procedures
  • Assists in other functional Human Resources areas.
