Overview

Manage the operational productivity and key processes of the Amerex sales team. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, help define the strategy, operations, and development activities for Amerex sales.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales leaders and marketing to focus the sales team on the best targets, and growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee the sales team use of CRM to optimize customer information, opportunities, sales process, and sales activity.
  • Oversee reporting of sales results against targets and plans.
  • Identify sales coaching and training needs including sales automation and analysis tools – coordinate and execute deliverables with the support of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  • Provide regular briefings and recommendations on sales performance and activities to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  • Handle requests from the outside sales team for general business issues, provide support and solutions, and escalate to Vice President of Sales and Marketing when necessary.
  • Source and provide information and insights to the sales team to increase sales effectiveness and the Amerex customer experience.
  • Coordinate the response to large, qualified RFP’s.
  • Represent Amerex Corporation in specific industry and customer organizations, and at trade events as requested.
  • Some overnight and air travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales, sales operations, or customer success experience.
  • College degree (4-year minimum, graduate degree preferred).
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills are essential. Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentation. Ability to conduct meetings in person and remotely using all forms of technology.
  • Proficient in data analysis and use of technology including Microsoft Office, Power BI, Teams, CRM, enterprise systems, media, and collaboration tools.
  • Project management skills and experience – accuracy and timeliness in meeting deadlines.
