The role of the Senior Health & Safety Engineer is vital to the success of the organization, achieving company goals and driving initiatives that result in best in class HS performance (OHSAS 18001 facility).
The Senior Health & Safety Engineer is the subject matter expert in safety programs and processes supports in maintaining the Amerex Health & Safety program by auditing, implementing, and conducting training on site-level policies and procedures in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements as established by governing bodies (OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, etc.), as well as the Amerex Corporation and McWane Inc. standards. Additional duties include but are not limited to working closely with internal business partners to find effective and efficient solutions to health and safety issues, participating in injury and incident investigations, ISO/VPP auditing, and maintaining necessary documents pertaining to the health and safety program.
The training application specialist will be responsible for Amerex product training as directed by the Training Manager and vehicle suppression system field training for the transit industry. As part of the marketing team, the training specialist is responsible for the field training plan for vehicle systems for the transit industry and provides support for kitchen system and portable training.
Under general direction from the Human Resources Director, the Payroll Specialist -HR Generalist provides payroll processing administration for the workforce. The payroll hr specialist is responsible for monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing objectives. This position requires an extremely detail orientated person with significant knowledge of payroll administration, including state and federal regulations.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales of fire protection and suppression systems in a defined geographic territory through an established distribution network. The position manages the Amerex distribution channel and maintains influence with product end users, manufacturers (OEMs), architects/engineers, food service consultants, authorities having jurisdiction, and national accounts. The North Central region territory includes the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The position is outside sales and is based out of the candidate's home office in the regional territory, with regional distribution center in the Chicago area.
